I have very few friends, real friends. Even while I was in elementary, high school or in college, I only had a few good friends.
Currently, I do not have a barkada that I regularly hang out with. I do not belong to a community like Couples for Christ, Praise the Lord where I could be with lots of friends. I am affiliated with several business organizations like Philippines, Inc., Women’s Business Council of the Philippines, Philippine Council of Management, etc. and I consider most of my colleagues as friends, especially those that I have traveled with during state visits beginning from the time of Pres. Fidel Ramos.
But there’s one person that has grown close to me. We’ve been friends for maybe 12 or something years. There were times that we don’t get to chat for months.
I feel truly blessed that God has given me someone who is generous to me, always there to help me, to listen to my woes, and has never said no to anything that I asked.
