I am now in Baguio with my sister Aileen and Bong. It’s Len’s birthday today and this short vacation is my present to her. They haven’t been here for 25 years and instead of throwing a party for her, eto na lang ang gift ko. We left Manila yesterday noon, went to Our Lady of Manaoag in Pangasinan, and by 6 pm we’re here.
Of course I got them a separate room at the Manor. I cannot be kuripot and share room with them.
Three is a crowd ‘no? I got them a nice room with a balcony overlooking the courtyard.
My driver took them on a tour of Baguio this whole morning while I slept. And by noontime, they’ve covered practically the landmarks in Baguio including the Philippine Military Academy. I have also brought them to the best restaurants here.
We’re going home tomorrow, I know it’s too short a vacation. It’s like just one full day.
But they’re flying back to San Francisco on friday night, tapos mag-iimpake pa sila.
