I am trying to set aside my stress today by just thinking that I am lucky to reach this age. It’s my birthday today and I just want to feel gratitude and contentment.
I spent a great deal of time thanking each and every one who sent me birthday greetings. Hindi nga maubos-ubos, hindi matapus-tapos. Tila mahigit isang libo na yung naghappy birthday na friends and acquaintances. Salamat sa inyo.
I was told I share the same birthday as Coney Reyes, the famous mother of Pasig Mayor Vico Sotto, and VP Leni’s late husband Jessie Robredo. Happy birthday to you. My claim to fame today is that I share the same birthday as Henry Kissinger, the former Secretary of State of the USA. He is 99 today. Wow wow wow, sana ako din umabot ng 99 na healthy pa.
I have a few hours to spend before our dinner so I started cleaning my son’s new room and putting back the furniture. His original room will be the nursery room and the second=floor guest room would be Nyke’s new room.
I got tired and felt so upset about something. I felt like throwing up but tried to control it. I took a nap but was awakened because the cleaners Oyen contracted to shampoo 3 sofas and one area rug was here. The vacuum was noisy. Naalimpungatan ako kaya lalong para akong nahilo.
I want to be calm and stay focused it’s my birthday today and this is a day to be happy and relax. I wished.
I am adjusting to the fact that I am here in Manila today. Usually kasi for most of my birthdays in the past 20 years, madalas I am abroad.
I thank the heavens for giving me the opportunity to experience this life. I am grateful for my family whom I love very much.
My birthday wishes have always been about them and not for me.
I also wish good things to happen to others and to keep our world safe.
Every day and year that passes is a reason to celebrate even if sometimes the challenges make us stumble in the dark. #kapitlang
