We spent the Easter Sunday simply, on house arrest, but happy and together.
I cooked whatever ingredients we have available.
We grilled rib eye steak. Edmund was the grill officer in charge.
Pancit canton noodles for long life right?
Sliced oranges for dessert, Some were too dry already.
We grilled fish too but Edmund said they were not as fresh anymore. He was the one who bought them from Island Pacific. I should have fried them instead. Grilling is good if the fish is bought alive.
We set-up the table in the backyard for a change, to have a different scenery.
Hola familia
Mochi’s mom of Twinkle, lola of Jack, and mother in law of Tyler.
Mochi is enjoying all the love and attention.
The sun warms my anxious heart.
Oyen has outgrown sitting on my lap and using my daster’s skirt as her duyan.
In this most uncertain and frightening time, there are two things that give us strength— faith and family.
Wishing all of humanity good health, safety, and freedom.
OUR SALVATION COMES FROM OUR GOD. Happy Easter
