We left Las Vegas at 9:30 am. Parang bitin, kulang ang bakasyon. We wanted to drive to Utah but no time. Len and Bong have work the next day and Dimple’s hosting a lunch on her mom’s death anniversary. She’s traveling to Bacolod the following weekend. I also have things to do in relation to Oyen’s wedding.
Bong’s car needed additional gasoline so we stopped for a few minutes at a gas station adjacent to Harris BBQ. I bought this wrought iron cow. Medyo namahalan nga ako kasi it was $32++ pero ang ganda so binili ko na rin. They also have other farmhouse decors but this was the only one I bought.
We stopped again at McDonald’s for lunch and to break the long drive from Las Vegas to Northern California. Maka-stretch ng konti.
I accidentally knocked-off my cup of Sprite. It spilled, practically poured, all the contents on the table, into Dimple’s clothes, and down to the floor.
I was not being careful. I was clumsy. I am always clumsy.
It only took us 9.5 hours including the two stops.
