Mother will always be her children’s number one fan.
Unlike my mom who’s style of complimenting always compared me with her, asking people present “Sino’ng mas maganda sa amin ni Annie?”, and sometimes, as if that’s not enough to make me feel inferior, she would compare me with our neighbor’s daughter.
Me, I just adore my daughter period. She’s pretty period. I don’t compare her with Ketty Perry or with someone else’s daughter three houses down the road. She’s my daughter, if she has any flaws then blame it on her parents not on her.
I will always be my children’s number one fan. They are God’s gift to me.
I am just too happy that I was given the chance to become a mom. Challenging yes, super, but am still grateful, with all my heart.
I like your attitude towards loving your children, cguro our mother’s generation have different upbringing. They have too many kids that they fail to see the uniqueness of each child. They just focus on the reality of everyday survival and their opinion that girls must be pretty and maalam to get a good husband. Ako nga puro pintas from my mom, walang satisfaction sa product nya he he, minsan anak ang mag understand.
