There’s another shopping mall in Metro Manila, High Street Central.
I feel like there are more malls than shoppers. Notice how empty stores are whether weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Shoppers are dispersed, we just have too many malls.
High Street Central is medium sized, like Podium.
Oyen and I spent an hour exploring the whole place.
1. Picture first.
2. L’Occitane
Their decor is adorable. I want to have a bike like this.
I like this lavander cart too.
I will have a much bigger cart made. Gaya-gaya naman ako.
3. Pottery Barn
Pottery Barn stores in the US are always nice to visit. Their merchandise are imported from India, China, etc.
As soon as I entered this store in High Street, I sensed that this could be operated / owned by the Rustan’s group. There’ some small items similar to what they sell in Rustan’s Department Store home section. I was right.
Bedroom collection: Parang ang sarap humiga.
They have a whole section not only for children’s clothes and supplies but for kid’s furniture as well. Free interior design pa.
What a nice mall. I think you need to park that bike in front of your farmhouse. 🙂
My parents moved to this area when they retired to the Philippines this year. They really enjoy it – very convenient to shops and restaurants like what they are used to. It kinda makes it hard to think of pasalubong when you can buy everything in the Philippines – even my favorite little places like Dean & Deluca and the Plaza Foodhall has outposts there.
That’s true Ms. A, kahit saan ka lumingon nowadays may mall na. That is also one of the problem’s of some store supervisors in our company, konti lang foot traffic… Pottery Barn is such a ohhhh. How I wish makapunta ako sa store nila para mag window shop
