Holiday Inn Beachcomber

Oyen was the one who booked our hotel. It’s very na nowadays because of the internet. I only guided her to find a hotel along the Kalakaua Avenue where there are many shops, restaurants and hotels, and it’s parallel to Waikiki Beach.

We arrived at the hotel before 10 am while check in time was still at 3 pm. I hardly slept during the nine hour flight, I took a large chunk of Bonamine tablet, What do I do with five hours lay over time? To lay down. And sleep.
I found a sofa in the lobby. My intention was to sleep while seated. When my children woke me up at 3 pm, I was all stretched out on the sofa, with dozens of people seeing me in my most unglamorous state. I saw the photos taken by my kids and I looked dead. Una’t na unat, kulang na lang kabaong. I was completely knocked out. I was sure some guests made fun of me and took photos or videos of my snoring. Baka nasa you tube na ako. I slept behind this lemon water station.
According to my son those getting water could see me and hear me snore. Kakahiya.

Our room, 1801, is simple, a little bit small. But it’s comfortable and okay lang naman.

It has a small balcony,  but scary to stand on.  Para akong mahuhulog.

There was a major construction beside the hotel.  I was at first concerned that it would be too noisy .  I could here the sound of the heavy equipments but when the balcony door and louvers are closed,  the noise is not very audible.    Oyen asked if I wanted to transfer but I was too tired and lazy to move.
