Although I sent my proxy form in advance, I still showed up at the annual village’s meeting and election yesterday afternoon. I felt guilty because I skipped this month’s board meeting. I am currently the corporate secretary. My job naman is so easy. The admin officer prepares the paperwork and minutes, she sends the docs to my house for my signature. Yun na.
One director resigned because he sold his house and moved to another location. It’s actually the best time to sell. Prices are nuts driven up by property developers.
One seat is vacant. I told those being nominated that the first qualification must be loyalty to Goldilocks. Kasi most of the time, at our meetings, Richard Yee (no relation), President of Goldilocks, brings polvoron, chicken pie, ensaymada.
We have a new member and he is complaining of his neighbors’ noise. His neighbor has four drivers and eleven maids !!!!! They are all noisy, and meal times are always a riot according to him. Even the homeowners daw are also noisy. they laugh and talk so loud. Unfortunately, his master’s bedroom is on the noisy side. Even worse, those 15 household staff have daily karaoke sessions.
There’s a 2.5 meters mandatory side easement on each side of a house, which means his window is 5 meters away from his neighbor’s. Still, with 15 noisy people, karaoke, microphone, plus the noisy owners, that could really be torture. He should and must go to Kenneth and Mock to replace his windows with double pane. They have sound proof windows.
Our neighbor called the admin office and complained again about our barking dog.
I remember that one time, when the main left Tyler in the laundry area. At 1 am, I heard him barking.
A barking dog is a hundred times better than noisy people. Isang sutsot lang sa aso, tumitigil na. As soon as you address what they’re barking at, they stop. With people, sige nga, pag merong nagkakaraoke, sutsutan mo, baka bugbugin ka.
Baka manadya pa, lalong lakasan. One song takes about 3-4 minutes. Meron ayaw bitawan yung microphone. Kung 15 silang kakanta, aba parang araw-araw may fiesta.
We’ve also received another concern from a homeowner, Benny.
There was a group of young adults who attended a party here. At 2:30 am, Benny was awakened by a very loud sound. A white Toyota Fortuner crashed on his parked black Fortuner which was parked in front of his house. When he looked out the window, the white Fortuner didn’t stop. He called the gate guards to block him from going out of the gate.
The guy, M, was drunk. He asked Benny not to tell his insurer that he’s driving under the influence of alcohol, or else his claim could be denied.
Within minutes, the party host, K, and his friends, were at the scene. K, promised Benny, that in the event M doesn’t pay, he would shoulder the damages to Benny’s SUV.
The insurance company of M denied the claims. Both M and K denied making promises to Benny that they would pay for his vehicle’s damage.
Benny should just let his own insurer go after M. But the problem is, we think Benny only has TPL, not comprehensive insurance.
Never trust a promise in an accident like these always get their infos and let your insurance deal with it. Happen to me many times and good I don’t need to worry.
Thank you Thony. Car owners should always get comprehensive insurance. If something like that happens, let the insurance company deal with it.
