Last friday, I went to the exhibit of Hoseki on the 6th floor of The Grove, Rockwell in C5, Pasig.
I was invited by Johnny Litton. I knew it would be all about jewelries that’s why I invited Oyen to come along.
I arrived at 5 pm, Oyen 6 pm.
The room is overlooking the big swimming pool.
Johnny saw me right away as I entered the function room and he introduced me to some of the guests and to one of the owners of Hoseki, Knoi.
Hoseki is the Japanese word for jewelry.
I haven’t been to Hoseki’s shop at the lower ground floor of Podium that’s why I had no idea what their jewelries look like including the prices. Kala ko mga modern designs, more of fashion accessories with price range of siguro mga P20,000 – P40,000. Naku, sobrang mali ang akala ko, kulang na kulang ng mga 000 ang hula ko.
Hoseki’s jewelries are one of a kind and they are made of precious and semi-precious stones.

Hoseki also sells loose diamond stones. On display at the exhibit were 1 carat up to 2 carat stones

Oyen tried on this necklace made of Citrine beads. I forgot how much, tila P200,000. Parang rosary ang effect.
Oyen also tried this choker on. According to Knoi, the pendant was handcarved in Hongkong.

It’s our first time here at Rockwell’s new condo project The Grove.
Since we’re already here, we might as well make usyoso.
It’s very easy to get attracted when looking at model units, kasi syempre they were decorated and arranged by architects and interior designers.
When you imagine living in this small spaces, add your kalat into the picture. Take into consideration that model units are showrooms, no one actually lives there kaya maluwag tingnan at wala pang mga kalat.
Condominium living equals stream-lining.
Bawal mag-shopping ng mag-shopping kasi hindi bagay dito ang kalat at walang space.
This unit is 74 square meters, two bedrooms, two toilets with a maid’s room with own toilet and bath.
Price tag = nine to ten M.
