I wanted to try the craw fish restaurant I saw on tv. I asked the concierge to write down the address of the popular seafood restaurant, Hot n Juicy Crawfish. It’s located in Chinatown, a short ride away from my hotel. I took Uber.
There was one table that was just vacated when I arrived. But after I sat down, more people came and waited for a few minutes to get seated.
The prices are by the pound.
The food attendant asked wht spice or sauce I preferred. I chose baby spice.
This is the place for slurping fingers. I see people messing up their clothes with the sauces.
The dishes are served steaming hot in polypropylene plastics.
The waitress asked me if I wanted hand gloves. I said no. These things are eaten with bare hands, raw hands, no plastic gloves.
They’ve ran out of fresh / live crawfish. The frozen ones are equally fresh.
I was the only one who cleaned up her table after eating. Everyone else had super messy tables.
