We’re on our last leg of our European sojourn and we’re back in Paris for two nights.
We reached our new hotel at around 9:40 pm. This is our first time at Hotel Vigny. I just found it on booking.com kasi Chateau Frontenac was fully booked on this nights.
We were pleased with the size and decor of the room.
The bed was big enough for two people and it looked nice and comfortable.
The decor evokes some old world feel.
Bathroom was modern and complete with basic amenities. We just found the bidet too long which almost touched the water closet. They should just remove the bidet to make the toilet area spacious and more comfortable.
After the hotel’s receptionist found out that there would be three of us, they said the room was only good for two, but they are putting us in an executive room. They would set up a trunk bed for extra Euro 80 a night. The hotels around the tourist area in Paris have become so expensive after their one currency was put in place. The price became more expensive, almost doubling the usual room rates.
We went out to eat while they set up the bed. When we came back, Oyen saw the bed, naawa sya sa akin kasi it’s too small, smaller than her dorm bed. She wanted to exchange beds with me and offered to let me stay on the bigger bed. Ayaw ko, okay na ako dun, kunwari estudyante. It was comfortable naman. I used my bath towel and wardrobe as blankets. I just found the location of the room a little noisy because it’s facing the street. I could hear the noise from the street. It was not too noisy, I just could hear the sound of taxis outside. I had a nightmare on our first night. In my dream, there was a female moomoo trying to scare me so I would leave the room. She was shaking my shoulders and trying to squeeze my neck. I put all my might to wake up. Sino kayang bruha yun? Kahawig nga nung isang kasama namin sa tour.
