I did not expect to see the house of someone whose name I only heard countless times from my history teachers. Peter Alexeyevich or more popularly known as Peter the Great. He was the Emperor of all of Russia from 1682 up to his death in 1725.
Stepping into his house and entering his private space felt surreal.
It felt like I was inside my history book.
Ang kapal pala ng bigote nya. Nung araw si Edmund meron ding bigote. Mabuti naman at nakasawaan na, kung hindi, kamukha nya si Tsar Peter.
Aha! Eto pala mga pinggan nyo.
The house has a nice backyard. A simple garden.
Was the Russian tsar short? His bed looks short. It looks small for two people. Siguro they were still inlove with each other kaya kasya na sila kahit masikip.
Peter the Great was named after the apostle Peter. Edmund was named after Saint Edmund, kaya sobra syang mabait pagka mahimbing ang tulog.
The house looks small from the outside but it is actually spacious inside. It has a formal dining room pa although the ceiling is a bit low.
Thanks to Cynthia and to our Estonian tour guide for bringing us to a bit of a journey back in time.
