My 2017 is intertwined with my 2016. I cannot assess my buhay in 2017 without starting in 16 and half of 2015.
A series of tsunamis hit our family beginning in mid 2015. Just as when we thought the water was calmer, new waves came crashing down on us beginning on the first quarter of 2016. No let up.
Despite an extremely challenging and stressful 2016, there were also fun things that happened. We tried our best to live normal lives while parrying all the blows our family was getting.
Year 2017 was definitely much better than our 2016. Oh way way better. There were still remnants of our problems in 2015 and 2016 but there were more things to be thankful for that happened in 2017.
We endured sleepless nights and tearful days in 2016 but we had more laughter in 2017. With God’s kindness, here we are still, celebrating love and life together.
We are starting 2018 with the same grateful and hopeful hearts.
