Lobster, YSL, and Salonpas

I was in bed for 3 days.

I started feeling better on thursday afternoon that’s why I was able to go to work on friday. I even picked up some groceries from Rustan’s.
I thought I was on my way to full recovery. But yesterday morning, I woke up feeling sick again. My ubo and sipon worsened. May nadagdag pa- I couldn’t move my neck. I walked and moved like a robot. But instead of staying at home, I forced myself to move. I went to Amir Sali’s shop at 1 pm. I told him about the gowns I would need for the Fabulous Women photo shoot and for the gala night.

(He’s travelling to Singapore in July for the wedding of Megaworld’s son. Amir Sali is doing the entourage’s gowns).

I also went to Rustan’s Shangrila-Mall. Lakad-lakad, tingin-tingin, shopping na rin. That’s also an exercise (excuse kunwari lang).

We went to mass, then dinner, ubo ako ng ubo. I hope I don’t infect my family and other people.

I totally forgot that when we last ordered this from Gloria Maris, I didn’t like their crispy fried noodle, puro corn starch. Tapos, nag-order na namin kami. Ganun parin, puro pampalapot.

Edmund wanted mango sago, I wanted a cup of taho eh the minimum order pala is good for 6 people. Kaya Edmund helped me eat the taho, we took home the rest, for Nyke.

Nyke worked all day and had dinner with friends, kaya he wasn’t with us.

Oyen was in Rockwell earlier. She was telling us that for some reason, women would look at her bag, then look at her, look at her bag and look at her from head to toe. While at Gloria Maris, two women did the same thing. Siguro iniisip kung fake yung bag nya. Since it looked real, they’re trying to match her bag with her looks kung can afford. ha ha ha, Dressed down sya today, kaya siguro ganun. Ladies, totot na totot po ang kanyang proud possession na YSL, na only one in the Philippines. She bought it last December at the YSL boutique outside of Tokyo. No discount, kaya medyo nilagnat pa nga iyan from buyer’s remorse kasi that’s her first purchase of an expensive bag, from her own salary. Straight payment pa yun, kaya siguro she had sleepless nights. (laughs).

Edmund—- “Anong mamamatay, hindeeee, ayan at lumalangoy pa”.
Can you imagine, in a short while, someone would order fresh steamed lapu-lapu, tapos eto na ang ending ng life nya. I feel guilty, too, I love steamed lapulapu with soy sauce, ginger and leeks.

We don’t order lobster from expensive restaurants at kung hindi, baka beinte mil ang bill mo. Parang nagtatapon ka ng pera, siguro yung iba, maraming itatapon.
When Nyke was younger he would make requests if he could order lobster. Hindi talaga pwede. Kaya ngayon, sanay na sya, we don’t order. However, if he really wants, I can buy them from the wet market and cook them at home. We would save at least 10,000 bucks.

Last night was terrible. I had nightmares and I would wake up every now and then talking in my sleep and screaming, both from my bad dreams and from my back, shoulder and neck pains. The pain worsened. I was crying while half-asleep.

My dear husband was all dressed up in his golf attire when I opened my eyes around 5:30 am or 6. When he heard me complaining of my pain, he started plastering my back with Salonpas. I couldn’t move, I just let him do his thing.
Pinagtatapalan ako. Kala ko isa lang. Since he’s in a hurry, hayun, takbo na at they have a golf tournament today in Sta. Elena Golf & Country Club.

Ang sakettt! Parang parusa ito.
