I don’t know why but I am fond of fountains. I find them pretty and romantic. We have a nice fountain in our old house. In our current residence, we have a small waterfalls that flows into the pool and there are two spouts coming from the wall. They are still called fountains but they are not the traditional ones.
After three years of canvassing and planning, I finally have a traditional-looking / old-fashioned water fountain recently installed at the farm. Yung iba kasi P120,000 ang singil, yung iba P80,000. I didn’t want to spend that much money.
I paid P23,000 for the fountain, plus P10,000 for the lagoon, plus P5,000 painting and installation of the tiles. I bought the tiles from Home Depot for P7,000 pero meron pang sobrang tiles. Edmund supplied the water pipes and pump. The contractor was asking for an additional P5,000 kasi daw lugi sya sa lagoon.
The lagoon is 3 meters in diameter, the bottom part is 1.5 meters, the middle one is 1.2 meters while the top part is .70 meters.
No water yet.
The floor tiles match the color of my hat I recently bought in Guimaras for one hundred ten pesos. Sira na agad, parang disposable.
