Two weeks ago, I noticed my black watch was always on the wrong side of my wrist. Even if I fixed it, after a while the face would be on the other side again. I didn’t give it much attention in the beginning.
But the other day, medyo nagtaka na ako.
I told Edmund and Oyen about it and I suspected that my watch’s rubber strap could have stretched.
Edmund said that’s not possible. Baka daw I lost weight. Parang malabo yun.
I didn’t diet and was in fact always eating with gusto.
To validate my suspicion that the rubber strap of my black watch could have stretched longer, I took my other watch with a leather strap. This’ the one I bought on my birthday. The store adjusted the beige leather strap a little tight or exacto lang. Hindi sya pwedeng umikot. But now, it’s a little loose.
My weight loss was confirmed the other day when I visited my doctor. As a SOP, the secretary weighed me. It was 124.4 lbs. Medyo kulang. Around March, I was hitting 129 and there was even a time I was at my heaviest at 131 lbs. Parang 15 pounds lahat napunta sa tyan.
My son has a high tech weighing scale in his room. While he was away yesterday, I stepped on it. Aba 122.8 lbs, siguro gutom lang ako.
My clothes still feel tight because my stomach did not shrink.
I wish every pound of lost weight comes from my belly.
I lost at least five (5) pounds the past two months without even trying.
Maybe because I was really stressed out in May. June was better but subconsciously, the worry still lurked in my head.
