When my pair of LV sunglasses broke, I brought it to a store abroad. They refused at first to repair it because according to them it’s not a quality issue. After they found out I was a regular client, they agreed to at least try to fix it. When they couldn’t they gave me a $600 voucher so I could buy something for myself. Although I didn’t buy the pair from that particular store, they were kind enough to accommodate me and was generous even if I bought the sunglasses in Manila.
Prada is a different story. The lens look like a badly installed car window tint. It’s peeling off. Malabo na nga ang mata ko, pag sinuot ko sya, lalo na akong hindi makakita. A few months ago, I brought it back to the store where I bought it. They said it’s no longer under warranty because I bought it a little over a year ago. They gave me the name of their supplier and suggested that I contact that company.
The company was not Prada. Ibig sabihin contract manufacturer lang.
I lost the tiny piece of paper where she wrote down the contact number.
I am going to buy another pair next month to replace this with, maybe with another brand.
