There’s just too many people eating out nowadays. Can we think of some other ways of family bonding? Puro na lang tayo eating. We’re like that too.
Nyke wasn’t with us last Sunday because one of his friends was having a party.
Only Yen, Edmund and I went out. We went to Shangrila Mall.
Oyen made a reservation in Green Pastures restaurant but we were number 20+ sobrang tagal ng intay.
We walked around the new Shangrila Mall and ended up in front of this new ramen restaurant named Ikkoryu Fukuoka Ramen.
We were given the menu while waiting.
Hot inside. Full house. Toooooooooooooooooo Noisy for our decibels.
The noise did not come from the customers but from their employees.
The cooks were shouting something every minute or so.
Every time a staff would speak to another waiter, he/she would do so in a loud voice na para bang mga bingi sila. Sabi ni Edmund, sadya daw yun, maybe they were instructed to do that to create that palengke ambience. Huh? I didn’t go to the upscale Shangrila-mall because I miss the palengke sound. Kung yan ang gusto ko, sa Farmers Market ako pupunta hindi dito.
Did I read this right? …… PREMIUM dine-in concept. Japanese eating lifestyle.
I’ve been to Japan a few times, wala akong matandaan na maingay ang restaurant. Yung number one ramen house na ang haba rin ng pila, ang tahimik kumain nung mga hapon.
While eating, husband kept saying “hindi na ako babalik dito, hindi ako nare-relax kumain, ang ingay-ingay”.
Same here.
