This is an important thing to do when giving wedding gifts:
Aside from writing your name/s on the gift card, you should, as much as possible, write your name on the box itself or slip another gift card inside the box where it could be seen first as soon the box is opened. Write also your name on the gift wrapper itself, at the bottom or at the corner, away from the ribbon or gift card.
The purpose of this is to make sure your gift is counted and the couple would know it’s yours. Even if the receptionists noted down your box, it’s not sure if that gift would reach the couple. It could be misplaced. If it’s misplaced then malas mo because the couple would never know that you had a gift.
The gift card could easily fall off or gets detached from the wedding gift box. Another gift card inside the gift itself or your handwritten name on the wrapper itself is an assurance that the couple would know where the gift came from.
It has happened many times, there are gifts that has no tags.

I’m not at liberty to divulge what’s inside. Hint, something for the couple’s house.
The wedding ceremony was at 3 pm, she went straight to the reception in Marriot Hotel.
