A friend of mine told me that their family goes to Tagaytay for the annual Visita Iglesia. I thought Tagaytay didn’t have enough churches to complete the Visita but I was wrong. There are many churches around Tagaytay and Cavite. (Tagaytay is actually part of Cavite).
There’s a church near Architect Alma’s project along Aguinaldo Hway.
That’s our meeting place.
I learned from Alma that
this church is one of the favorite wedding places here. The size is just right for an intimate ceremony. Most guests naman proceed to the reception. I’ve attended church ceremonies in huge cathedrals, tapos only 5 rows were occupied, parang ang lungkot.
It so happened that there’s a wedding pala that afternoon. Naki usyoso ako.
I looked gusgusin, while all of them were wearing formal gowns.
If Edmund and I were to get married again (arrkkkk), siguro I would make the bridesmaids and sponsors wear white. I would wear pink instead.
Their colors were so nice to look at.
Sayang I didn’t get to see the bride kasi I was in a hurry.
I visited the Our Lady of Lourdes also, along Aguinaldo Hway.
So many improvements have been made since the last time I’ve been there.
This is new.
I don’t like the face of their Nazareno.
Lalo na ito, ang samang tumingin, parang barumbado. His eyes followed me to the left, to the right. Creepy.
I took a picture of the wedding banns.
We should make it a habit to look at the banns posted at every church’s entrance. This should be a part of our citizen duties, not just as Catholics. Paki check nga kung ang boyfriend nyo eh nadyan.
