After the anticipated mass, when my husband asked me where I wanted to eat dinner, I said I wanted to go to Megamall to look at the paintings there. He agreed.
When we got there at 8 pm, some of the art galleries were already closed. Just before 9 pm, my children went ahead to Ippudo Ramen to check if there’s a long line. When Edmund and I followed, we didn’t have to wait. The table was ready.
Our first time here.
The ramen bowls were used to decorate the wall.
Although the menu was fairly simple, it took me several minutes to decide on my order.
Ippudo Founder Shigemi Kawahara
The first restaurant opened in 1985 in Hakata, 1 hour and 45 minutes by air from Tokyo.

Fried Chicken Skin Salad
My son ordered one Pork Bun P100. It’s good daw.
Fried chicken (Karaage) and Japanese rice for Oyen
Nyke’s special pork ramen . I ordered the same thing but the basic one.
We also had two orders of gyoza that came in 5 small pieces per order. Paliit ng paliit ang gyoza ngayon even in other restaurants. Gyoza is a Japanese dumpling filled with ground meat and vegetables such as cabbage, green onion, garlic, ginger, soy sauce and sesame oil.
For our dessert, we went to Pinkberry. Oyen didn’t order her own, she scooped from her brother’s yogurt, while I also dipped into Edmund’s cup.
I purposely didn’t order my own large cup of yogurt because I was going to eat lanzones at home. When Oyen’s boyfriend learned that I loved the lanzones he gave me, he sent me about two kilos again. These were shipped from Cebu. Delicious!!!
