Japanese Food in Korea - Oh My Buhay

I didn’t want to eat Korean bbq again near the hotel. I found the prices exorbitant. We walked instead to the commercial area looking for simple food.

We entered a small building that has several restaurants. Akyat kami hoping to find something good. And luckily, we did.

We saw a nice looking Japanese restaurant. Since Edmund wanted ramen, baka kako meron dito.

The prices were surprisingly cheap. Cheaper than in Japanese restos in Manila. I was glad we discovered this place.

I  ordered tempura bento box but they gave me this much food.   I got so worried I looked at the wrong price in the menu W13,000 (Php530).  I had a big bowl of soup with golden mushrooms, crab stick,  meron pang orange juice, dessert, sushi, sashimi, fried pork, rice, etc.

My son volunteered to pay for our dinner. I think he felt guilty because he ordered the most.
A————“Anak how much did you pay?”
N————“W63,000”.
63,000 won is approximately US$58 x P45 = P 2,340 or P585 / person average.

One thing we noticed in Korea, they don’t expect TIPS. They give good service because it is their duty. Even at the hotel, they have a no tipping policy.
