We’re both hungry but couldn’t decide where to eat merienda.
Edmund—— I’m starving.
Me———- Where do you want to eat?
Edmund—— Bahala ka na.
Me———- do you want noodles in Causeway?
Edmund—— Nope.
Me———- Eastwood? Mcdo?.. San kaya.
What do you like ba?
Edmund—– Anything.
Me——— Tart, gusto mo sa ….
Edmund—– UCC na lang.
Me——— Okay, pero sira ang aircon nila, matagal na.
Edmund to driver—– Sa UCC, dun sa…
It was noisy and humid inside UCC, walang lamig, fan lang.
We left.
Me——— Do you want in Lola Idang?
Edmund—– Ayaw ko.
Me——— Do you want in Starbucks?
Edmund—– Ay, wala namang makakain dyan. I want real food.
Me——– Where kaya?
Edmund—- Bahala ka na, tart. Kahit ano.
Me——– Mahirap mag-isip, gusto mo dun sa banda dun, yung chicken? pandesal?
Edmund—- Sige Lola Idang na lang.
The son-in-law of the owner of Lola Idang, George, is a friend of Edmund. They met at the golf course in Camp Aguinaldo. He’s been to our house once. Their langgonisa supplier is also a golf friend of theirs from Tuguegarao. Edmund also orders from him. Remember, the best langgonisa is from Tuguegarao, not from anywhere else. We like it fried crispy.
Bilao. I am not sure if they deliver.
Lola Idang’s had undergone several renovations and upgrades through the years.
Edmund ordered karekare with rice and daing na bangus (merienda pala ha). I had pansit bihon.
The server should have wiped-off the drips on the karekare bowl.
