Kay Hart, the new country head of Ford Philippines visited Makati Ford for the first time last Wednesday, September 4.
I wanted to prepare some seafood pasta but Edmund said Kay just likes Starbucks coffee. So before going to the office, Oyen and I bought pastries from Conti’s in Greenhills and Edmund bought almost a dozen cups of coffee and croissants from Starbucks.
Plenty of people (pala) buy from Conti’s in the morning.
We prepared a small buffet table on the second floor. Our food was good for a dozen people.
O bili na kayo? Black or white? Ham and cheese, salmon, or chicken pie?
Bought this lacy dress in the US last July and it came with this big brown belt. I am not fond of belts because I believe it’s intended for people with small waists.
All set, okay, Kay is here, let’s go down and meet her.
Kay wore a stunning royal blue georgette blouse and black pants that matched her black Prada. She looked gorgeous.
She’s from Auckland, New Zealand and at 35 years old, she’s probably the youngest among Ford Motor Company’s top officers.
We were expecting Kay would be with Minnie Valencia, Joyce, etc. but she was by herself.

Kay arrived at 10:30 am. We exchanged pleasantries and stories about our travels, etc.
We all giggled when the topic came to the recent result of JD Power survey that Ford is Number One in customer satisfaction.
Oyen and I excused ourselves at 12 noon to go to our offices. Edmund was left behind to entertain Kay. Lifestyle Asia came at 1 pm to do a photo shoot with Kay. They would feature her in their next issue.
I felt so bad that I wasn’t able to go to the Ford showroom before 3 pm to watch the photo shoot and to say Hi again to Kay. I got stuck in my office and when I was ready to go down at 3:15, my staff advised me that the Lifestyle crew and Kay have left already. I was upset for a while.
