Kimpura dinner

Daughter went to Bohol with her friend. Husband was playing golf far far away. It was only me and my son.

Our plan was to hear mass at 6 then dinner, then concert. I went to the office and totally forgot that we agreed to attend the anticipated mass.
I left the office 5:30 and buti na lang swerte ko, ang bilis lang namin. I was home by 6:50 pm. I went straight to the kitchen and ate the remaining macaroni salad kasi I was so hungry. Then my son came down all ready. I asked for ten minutes.

We were a little late when we got to the church but not so bad. The priest was in the middle of his sermon.

We were first to leave. I chose to eat in Kimpura because they have teppanyaki oysters, eh di ba nga, oysters are rich in calcium also.

The tables were reserved.
Me——-“Anak let’s seat at the sushi bar, is it okay?”

Son——“Are you excited to watch Arnel Pineda?”
Me——-“No, I am excited that we’re together.

We sat at the sushi counter gazing at all the fresh seafood in front of us. We marveled at how fresh the fish were. My son gave in and ordered lapu-lapu sashimi.

The waiter gave us a small plate of crispy fats from the sirloin steak.

When mothers are with their children, it doesn’t matter where they eat, what they eat. The happiness comes from togetherness.
