There’s a fountain running when we arrived on the afternoon of October 29 but it was windy the next day so they didn’t make it run.
Watching this creatures move gracefully was a joy.
Edmund was impressed at how they were able to maintain their lake this clean.
The water was so blue and clear.
There were benches and gardens around the lake.
We had one full day in Geneva. We didn’t take any tour outside of the city. We just walked to the lake and joined an hour and fifteen minutes boat ride for 8 Swiss Francs each person.
The boat route. There’s a longer cruise, 2 hours, where you could see the castles, pero ayaw ko nun malayo na, at takot naman ako talaga sumakat sa boat.
We drank coffee (E) and chocolate (A) while waiting for the boat’s captain.
I was watching the cafe staff cleaned the old tiny refrigerator. Siguro 30 minutes nyang sinasabunan.
Talagang ilang beses nyang inuulit at halos pumasok na sya dun sa loob. I told Edmund I wanted to recruit that guy to work for us. Ang sipag, he would be a great PDI driver (pre-delivery inspection).
The captain came on a bicycle ten minutes before the scheduled time.
Nanerbyos ako nung una kasi gigiwang-giwang because of the waves. Sabi ni Edmund buti na lang daw merong mga ibang turista kung hindi, malamang papabalikin ko yung boat, sa takot ko.

There were a few medium sized castles hidden behind trees.
This guy impressed us all by racing against our boat and beating it. He did some acrobatic stunts pa.
One of my favorite places. I usually just walk along the lake. Hope your were able to visit the Jardin Botanique.
