December 16, 2017 Saturday
We drove for a few hours to have lunch in Jackson Rancheria Fisherman’s Buffet. My sister and her family arrived way ahead of us. We were tired, puyat and still had jetlags kaya we got up late plus naligaw pa kami.
The restaurant is on the ground floor of the Jackson Rancheria Indian Hotel and Casino.
It’s $32.99 / person but the cashier asked “anybody who is 55 and above?”
The price dropped to $29.99.
Most people come here for the all-you-can-eat-lobsters. Lugi ako kasi I am not fond of lobsters. I find the meat robbery. I can’t even finish one tail. Others get a lot of lobsters, not to eat but to bring home. They sneak the lobster meats into their bags.
I got two small slices of prime rib. I had them seared lightly. They were delicious and tender.
I think majority of the diners are Asians, half of that are Filipinos. The rest are mixed.
I had two servings of soft serve ice cream and I scooped the top part of the creme brulee.
