We were in a hurry to leave Niagara Falls because we were going back to Manhattan.

Sabina Pe, the president of Bridges Travel and Tours brought us to one of Buffalo’s historic places, the Red Coach Inn, for our lunch.
I borrowed Oyen’s extra pair of socks to keep my toes warm. Orange!!!
I don’t think I could last a week here, tila ang lungkot.
The houses in Buffalo are considerably cheap. You can get a house that needs some fixing for $50,000. If you are into those historic turn-of-the-century Victorian homes, they have lots of that.
We immediately left Buffalo right after lunch.
At least 6 hours non-stop to Manhattan. The best way not to be inip is to sleep.
Medyo nagkaka-inisan na naman yung bus driver at tour guide namin. They were both in a hurry to reach Manhattan. The driver made a bad call when he crossed the road recklessly. Muntik na muntik na kaming mahagip ng truck. Buti na lang hindeee at kung hindi, careless whisper na lang kami ngayon.
I didn’t see much of this city other than the raging waters of Niagara and the gloomy skies. My friend Sockee Mendiola owns and manages a souvenir shop in Buffalo specializing in religious items. I didn’t even have the chance to go visit her store. I wished we stayed for another day. Buffalo is so far away that I don’t think I will have the chance to come back here again. Oh never say never. Edmund and Nyke both haven’t been here so maybe … more like definitely, we’ll come back and when we do, I’d like to stay for 3 days at least. Alam ko na sasabihin ng asawa ko — BAKEETTT!
(Note: Some of my readers are confused. They think I am currently in NY. Nope, I am back in Manila. I was not able to post this trip asap because it was overtaken by events.)
