A real estate agent succeeded in putting into our minds the crazy idea of operating a beach resort in Lemery, Batangas. She mentioned this to me and my daughter last summer. But since we’re busy, we totally forgot about it ’til last week. Our ocular had been scheduled before Glenda and we didn’t think it was necessary to cancel it. It was actually a good excuse to get out of Manila to relax. Parang pasyal lang. Since Edmund was in Indonesia, my children and I thought that it would be the perfect time to go. Kasi we’re sure Edmund would be the least interested to do a 45 minute ride from Tagaytay to Lemery.
We’re so kupad. Instead of leaving at 8:30 am as we have planned, we left at almost 10 am. We picked up the real estate agents from Cliff House, Tagaytay at 11:15 am. We had a weewee break, then go na kami to Lemery. It’s actually not so far, about 20 kilometers from the Nasugbu Hway before /Evercrest. We just couldn’t run fast because it’s zigzag 80% of the way. Puro bangin ang dadaanan. Kaya mahirap magmabilis at baka mapabilis ang hulog sa bangin.
It was cloudy and drizzling but as soon as we reached the beach resort, the rain poured, as in parang Ondoy.
The resort was just a meter high from the water and it felt scary. Pag merong storm surge, eh talagang surge na surge ka dun.
They are open during dry months only, January to July.
It’s got potential but we just couldn’t see ourselves going there to manage that. Siguro kung marami kaming pera at tiga Lemery, Batangas kami, baka pwede pa. Pass..
