Certificates of Recognition were given to employees who reached 5, 10, 15 and 20 years of service.

Joy 5 years. She is newly married and her husband’s name is Johnny Depp.
Jasmine (Curtis?) for 15 years employment.
Gwen was the one who hired Kay Ann. She was only 20 yata when she started with us. I put her in charge of our fun company events and so far she’s been dependable.
Some received citations for perfect attendance, always present, never late.
Arnold is in charge of keeping the Makati Ford showroom clean.
Bong is an awardee every year.
Flor, her father worked for Kuya Lito for several years then chose to stay with me instead until his retirement. Edmund won last year a free trip to HK for two. We are planning to give it to Flor and to another Flor from Ford EDSA.
Joseph was sent to me by an employment agency where I used to get household maids. He turned out to be mabait, masipag, and mapagkakatiwalaan. He’s been with us for five years na pala!
Jay Tagustos is the Service Manager of Ford EDSA. He started with us as service manager of Mazda Makati. He did well, earning him the Service Manager of the Year Award. Edmund transferred him to Ford EDSA after a year where he still is.

We had fun awards too. Danica of Makati Ford was the popular choice for Miss Glamorous of the Night while _______ of Ford Cainta, was the crowd favorite for Mister Glamorous.
I was surprised and happy for Leonard (center). Imagine, he has an award! Top 3 technician at Makati Ford.
Leonard’s story is inspiring. I didn’t know that he submitted his biodata to one of the security guards. After a year, we needed some assistants lang in the service department. Oyen found his biodata among the thick stack of resumes. He was called for interview. When Oyen interviewed this young fellow (21), there was something in him that made her come to my office and asked me how we could help this guy who has less than qualified for the job. Naawa yata sya. I glanced at his biodata and told her to just hire him. When Oyen told him we’re hiring him as OJT, he broke-down. Those were tears of joy. He told us he’s been waiting for our call for a year because he really wanted to work for us.
He started as OJT or probationary. We couldn’t regularize his employment at first because his performance evaluation was a little below par although his rating in ATTITUDE was very high. We gave him a few more months hoping he’ll improve on his technical skills. I gave him some money when I found out nilipad ng bagyo ang bubong nya. Tulong lang kahit pambili ng pako at yero. He lives by himself, wala na yatang parents.
Mukhang mahusay na sya ngayon at meron pang award. I am happy for him.
