I sound like a broken record but the traffic situation in EDSA, Ortigas and C5 have encroached on my life. From Ford EDSA, A few times I wanted to swing by the Greenhills Shopping area afterwards but always had second thoughts because that would be a minimum of half hour traffic.
One hour going to the office and two hours coming home are considered no traffic or light traffic. Three hours which hit me at least once a week is considered moderate traffic.
There’s no particular barricade along EDSA that should make the cars move at snail pace. To use my husband’s words “itulak lang nila ng itulak ang mga sasakyan”.
Ewan bakit ganyan ang mga MMDA or kung sino man ang in-charge.
Pituhan agad ang mga buses na humaharang sa low way (formerly called high way) at yung mga jeepney turning right at Guadalupe. Naka-harang sila. They are all waiting for passengers to the detriment of thousands of vehicles.
Imagine the waste of time, gas, resources? Instead of a 15-minute traveling time, it becomes 3 hours. The inefficient traffic management and zero discipline of drivers are wreaking havoc to our daily lives.
