Lion, Kennon Road in Baguio - Oh My Buhay

Lion, Kennon Road in Baguio

March 16, 2017

We were supposed to stay in Baguio till Friday, March 17 but we cut short our stay by one night. I will attend the board meeting of the Philippine Trade Foundation or Philippines, Inc.’s in Makati on Friday, March 17.
It’s been a while since we last had our board meeting so I don’t want to miss this. There are important matters to discuss.

I saw the hotel crew preparing the venue for the evening’s golf awards.

Edmund also skipped the farewell dinner and awarding of prizes, anyway talunan naman ang team nila. From first naging second naging third placer pa.

While Edmund was checking out, I went inside the Narda’s souvenir shop located in the hotel lobby. I like that tapestry with 3 women. Price tag is 4,800. Everyday I looked at it trying to imagine where I would hang it. Parang hindi sya bagay sa decorations ko dito sa bahay.

We left Baguio at 2:30 pm. The government should fix this Lion area. Allow a safe spot for tourists to pose and take photos I saw them standing on the sidewalk, wala ngang side-walk. Baka masagasaan sila. They were not paying attention to the motorists, busy taking selfie photos.

Kennon Road is shorter than Marcos Hway by several kilometers and some half hour drive.

Feeling ko mahuhulog na itong bridge na ito. I will not dare pass here at night.

I bought two packs of boiled peanuts for P20 each. This would help keep Edmund awake.

We made two pee and coffee breaks. We were home by 6:30 pm. Four hours lang, ang bilis no? We were not even running fast, just leisurely driving. The SCTEX and TPLEX made a big difference. They cut short our travel time considerably.

The Philippine Star for March 14, 15, and 16 were neatly arranged on the kitchen island waiting to be read.
