It’s Sunday and we didn’t know that the golf course is closed on Sundays to allow the grass to rest and the people to stroll. How nice!
It’s our first time here at the St. Andrew’s Golf Links in Scotland and we are simply overwhelmed. Even when we were already on the grass, parang we’re still dreaming.
A———- “Humalik ka sa grass. Magpagulong-gulong ka na”.
Coming to St. Andrews is not a whim, but a dream. This trip was not an impulse, just to come here for holiday, no. It’s deeper than that.
E————- “Para kang pole dancer”.
To say that my husband is an avid golfer is an understatement.
For serious golfers like Edmund, a pilgrimage to the birthplace of golf is a must-see, must-visit, must play.
We found out that there’s a yearly tournament such as this. I encouraged Edmund to join. Dreams must not be postponed. Dapat, the sooner, the better. That’s why we are here. Not merely to have a vacation, but to live out a golfer’s dream.
Edmund’s the only Asian among the group. He’s competing with super galing players. Going home with a trophy would be fantastic, but by just being here is already a blessing.
