Looks like real wedding

We’re running late. It’s 5 pm and the venue isn’t ready yet although the leaves, stems, and other kalat are being cleared.

We will use our family dining chairs. I have no material to cover them.

These Ecuadorian Roses are huge and gorgeous. I couldn’t take my eyes off them.

I haven’t seen Cabbage roses before. They are also imported.

The florists have finished the big jars and are now putting on some finishing touches on the smaller vases.

It’s looking sooooo good. The white cloth is actually our bedsheet. The gray lace and gray table runner are from Marseille. I bought those supposedly for my noche buena table setting.

This is just so beautiful. I specified that the vase must be high enough so it doesn’t cover our faces.

I first saw this silvery cutlery from England at the Williams & Sonoma store in Time Warner. I went back twice, staring at them for at least half-hour. I didn’t buy them yet because they were heavy. When I got to San Francisco, I went to their store but they didn’t have them on stock. I made a special order and I was able to pick them up on the day we were leaving for Manila.

Buti na lang our dirty kitchen is organized na. Executive Chef Pedro arrived at 5:30 pm and immediately started working. He said our kitchen has everything he needs. I have enough plates for the 7 course-dinner. Even if there would only be the 4 for us, ang dami pa lang pinggan na kailangan.

I placed the blue boxes on the table. The waiter said “Mam, kulang ng isa, tatlo lang”.

I think the place is ready.

It looks like there’s a real wedding about to happen
