L’s wife #1 to 5

I met an old friend at the PCCI meeting yesterday at the SMX Convention at the SM Aura.

Since the place was still almost empty,  we had some time to bridge the more than 10 years that we haven’t seen each other.

He made kumusta my Kuya Lito who was his classmate in MBA.

I asked about his family, if they still live in the same village.  That question, led to a long story.  His love story.

L——  “Annie, baka itsismis mo ako”.

A—–  “I don’t go around telling people about other people’s lives.  But I do have a blog, where I tell the world about people’s lives (lol)”.

L—–  “I will always deny”.

A—– “As long as I don’t mention your name,  you’re safe”.

Here’s his story.

He’s babaero.  His wife (#1) caught him with another woman (#2).  She naturally went wild and never forgave him.   She caught him again,  with a different woman (#3).   She caught him again, with anther woman (#4).   Their relationship turned so bad that they stopped speaking to each other.   He moved to the music room while his wife stayed at the masters bedroom.

He met a girl (#5) who according to him came from a good family.  She’s a UP graduate and a teacher.    When she became pregnant,  he bought her a house.   They have two daughters who get along well with his 5 children from his wife #1.   But his wife never spoke to these girls and they are not allowed in their house.

He moved out after 5 years of sleeping in the music room.    He bought a condo and has been living there alone ever since.

He doesn’t live with woman #5  (he calls her wife #2) but he visits her and their 2 daughters once a week at the house  he bought for them.  He supports them 100% including her nail polish, because wife #2 doesn’t work.

He claims he never visits his wife #1 and up to now they don’t speak to each other.

I gave him an unsolicited advise.   To make peace with his wife, for old time’s sake.  Not to live together, but at least to give her closure before she dies.   They’re 69 or 70 years old.

Maybe to say,  “I am sorry I hurt you”.

He has a 12 year relationship with a 50+ year old woman whom he calls wife #3.  She’s married with 3 children of her own.    According to L,  she’s madly in-love with him and threatens to kill herself if he splits with her.    They don’t live together but she goes to his condo every Saturday, whole day and whole night so they could…. xxx.

When I told Edmund about L’s story,  he asked “bata ba yung babae?”

Syempre, meron ba namang lalaki na singkwenta ang asawa, eh kukuha ng mas matanda sa asawa nya?   Alangan namang kukuha yun ng sitenta anyos na girlfriend.
