We had Portuguese food for lunch on our first day of tour at the Restaurante Leao d’Ouro. The kind of restaurants FPG Insurance brings us has become a gourmet sensation each time. Not only do they fill our bellies, the way the food are presented also provoke excitement. And Cynthia Nakpil makes sure the decor and ambiance are something we would all enjoy and admire.
A table full of fresh seafood including crab, lobsters, shrimps and different kinds of fish greeted us as soon as we entered the nicely decorated restaurant.
My sister and I are fans of handpainted blue and white tiles. If only we could re-do our kitchens and put tiles like these on the back splashes.
I was still full from the breakfast but when we got here, I ate some bread again so my stomach had very limited space for something more special.
One of the female staff was not smiling and projected an inis feeling one that could be misconstrued as discriminatory.
We didn’t order individually. Cynthia Nakpil pre-ordered for all of us.
Weeks before the tour, Cynthia visits the restaurants to personally try the food to make sure the dishes would pass our discriminating tastes.
A large tray of a variety of seafood
FPG upped the ante by giving us holidays that are like gourmet tours.
There was an overflowing of food on the table, we could not eat a lot because we were still full from the buffet breakfast.
I wish I could eat more of this but my stomach was still trying to digest my breakfast.
Cheesecake, leche flan, bibingka yata yung isa, chocolate cake yung dark brown syempre ano pa.
