I had a luncheon meeting with Ave Cruz at the Inagiku Japanese Restaurant in Shangrila Hotel Makati. He came from Tagaytay that’s why he was a bit late.
Ave is the best friend of a friend of my son.
He’s the elder brother of Nenzo, Oyen’s college batch mate. Ave’s parents (former DND secretary Nonong Cruz) did a great job in rearing him up. He is very well mannered. The way he responds to my questions “yes mam” makes me feel like a general. He also prayed first before stabbing the salmon sashimi. Very polite, very behave, very respectful. Puro very. Mabait na bata. He’s tall (6 footer) and good looking like his parents and siblings.
He’s such a nice fellow.
Ave and I both had seafood teppanyaki. The boy is health conscious and watches what he eats, that’s why he is very trim and slim. Walang taba unlike me.
