Enrique Ching told me he liked the Mazda CX9 a lot. He said the ride, size and interiors were perfect for him but he wanted me to suggest to Mazda to change it to diesel. He said it’s easy, just change the engine. I don’t think it’s that simple, but I would suggest that they come out with a diesel version.

I bought my dress from a tiny dress boutique in Taipei for about P1,200. I did not even try it on because Sec.Greg Domingo and the guys from MECO were with us. I just ran, grabbed it and paid. Sec. Domingo was amazed at how fast I was able to do that. “Shopping under pressure”.

Many people followed the President as he left the Fiesta Ballroom of the Manila Hotel, they too, did not stay for lunch.

My colleagues- Babe Romualdez, Raymond Garcia, Simon Paz, Susing Pineda and RP Manhit left together with Pnoy,
I stayed to eat my breakfast and lunch.

More people from PCCI joined me at the table– Juliet Cortes-Montano, Elena Ngo, Edward T. Ngo of Gem Stationery, and William Chua.

The food choices were odd. I thought it was Chinese, kasi they served yang chow fried rice, sweet and sour fish fillet, pero there was Lechon. Tapos the lumpiang sariwa came followed by pancit palabok. But okay na rin, they tasted good especially to a grumbling stomach.

I did not finish the conference anymore, I left at exactly 1 pm and went to Makati.

The view in Roxas Blvd was a respite from the thousands of buses that I see everyday at EDSA.
