Last night, I was watching the taped episode of America’s Got Talent The Champions when I saw that one of the contestants is a Filipino named Marcelito Pomoy.
I became doubly proud after he slayed Celine Dion and Luciano Pavarotti’s famous duet of The Prayer. Marcelito or Mars sang flawlessly both the female soprano and male tenor with incredible vocal range.
He effortlessly sang high notes with grace and ease.
Both the judges and the audience were captivated. He could have gotten the Golden Buzzer except that he was the first contestant, Howie Mendel didn’t want to give it because it was too early in the game. He is through to the next round and I can’t wait to watch and hear his amazing voice again.
