I was in SM Megamall tonight from 5:40 – 7:20 pm. I knew I would be alone at home so I took it as a chance to venture around this big mall.
Daming tao. Eto na naman ang sasabihin ng asawa ko. why do I have to go to the mall on a weekend. I can go naman on weekdays, why I choose to go with the throngs of mall goers. Wala lang, mood-mood yan.
I spent half hour inside Powerbooks browsing at home decoration books.
I didn’t find a book for tiny cottage houses. They only have grand vacation homes.
It must be cool to have something like this in an island with spectacular views.
I appreciate old Spanish style homes but I do not see myself living in one.
Naalala ko pala I needed permanent black marker pens.
OMB———“Meron bang yung pinakataba ang sulat?”
Sales Staff-“Fine?”
OMB——— “Yung pinaka mataba?”
Sales Staff– “Eto o broad?”
OMB———- “Meron bang mas malaki pa dyan?”
Sales Staff– “Ah Fine, kumuha ka nga ng fine, fine”.
OMB———- “Hindi fine. Yung mataba ang sulat!”
Next I went to Etude, looking for a nice lipstick. I didn’t find an instant love. Pass.
I walked to the new wing, the Fashion Mall. Most of the stalls were still closed like H&M, Zara, etc. Uniqlo had a big promotion in the middle.
What’s so good about St. Marc food that people are willing to stand in line for a long time?
The line was longer at TimHoWan. One OMB reader told me that their dimsum is the best. According to the waitress, many people take out food. Line is always like this according to her anytime even on weekdays.
From Hongkong pala, Michelin Star? I would like to try. I’ll go at 10 am on a weekday.
I didn’t have lunch actually except for a packet of Fita biscuits. I kept walking looking for a restaurant and at the same time avoiding the noisy crowd.
An, when you’re in Japan go to the St. Marc restaurant there. They serve unlimited different types of soft rolls which are hot and freshly baked while you’re eating your main course. The fact that the St. Marc here didn’t follow suit is a big disappointment for me.
I can’t wait for a whole other chapter of maid stories with the new vacation house 😀
