I had no energy to get out of bed. I could still feel the rayuma / ngawit from the 10.5 hours travel to Baguio. The ngawit from my feet up to my shoulders worsened. I could feel the stiffness on my shoulders, neck and lower back. I didn’t want to have a breakfast buffet. I’d rather have a whole day leg massage.
Our room included daily buffet breakfasts up to 10 am. I had to force myself to get out of bed otherwise I would miss the free breakfast at the hotel’s famous veranda. My husband was also waiting for me. “Sumunod ka tart”.
The place was swarming with golfers. Some brought along their grandchildren, children, and wives.
Edmund introduced me to his Luisita Golf teammates and to some of his former Southwoods teammates and to some of his golf friends who were also having breakfast at the Veranda of the Baguio Country Club.
These guys are all champion golfers.

Edmund played for the Southwoods golf team for a few years with Atty. Jad Roy. Jad and I are somehow connected. He is the grandchild of former Senator and Mrs. Jose Roy. Nuong panahon ng hapon, ang lolo at lola nya ay tumira sa mga mama ko sa Pila-pila dahil may gyera na at umabot na ito sa Maynila kung saan nakatira sila Sen. Roy. Sila rin ang ninong at ninang ng mama at papa sa kasal na ginanap sa St. Ursula Parish Church sa Binangonan, Rizal. Ang flower girl ay ang kanilang baby girl na si Vilma Roy, na napangasawa naman ni Cong. Bibit Duavit.

They went to the pro-shop to check-out golf bags. That one’s 18,000.
Almost all the sales ladies have long hair, parang mga model ng Palmolive shampoo.
I was shocked to see one golf club selling for P20,000+. Meron daw mas mahal pa dyan. Chito told me he once played with Willie Revillame. Syempre Chito won eh champion golfer ito. Willie told him 100,000 pesos daw yung golf club nya. When Chito said 200 pesos lang yung pamalo nya, binali daw ni Willie Revillame yung 100,000 na golf club nya. Ano ba yun? Display of bruised ego? It’s not the Indian, it’s the arrow. It’s not the stove, it’s the cook.
