My daughter woke up very early again to be at the radio station this morning. I woke up at 6:05 am and found her bedroom door ajar. Stage father must be tuned in while on his way to Saturday golf.
Hip hop music used to drive me crazy after two songs. It’s not the kind of beat my generation know. Nakukulili tenga ko. But now, things are changing. Listening to the radio while my daughter plays hip hop music, I am actually beginning to appreciate it.
The last song she played before she signed of today at 9 am was Time After Time. That song is not hip hop, it has a slower beat which I like.
I don’t know until when she would like to be a DJ. Could be weeks, months or years. She’s extremely busy with her office job and she however finds radio and playing music as relaxing.
In the meantime, she is beginning to get the hang of it and she seems to be enjoying it.
Well good morning Philippines. Keep it real.
