I haven’t made any preparation for myself. I am going to be the Mother of the Bride and yet I don’t even have a dress yet, shoes, nor I am dieting to at least look 6 months preggy and not overdue for caesarian section. I don’t think I have time to have liposuction.
My daughter is the star of the show and our guests are only families and close friends. They would not mind seeing a pregnant old lady at the wedding.

Oyen is also not yet ready. Until now she doesn’t have a hair and make-up artist yet. She’s still choosing. She is also in a bind with regards to the florists here in America. Both of us agree that the venue is so beautiful already it doesn’t need fancy floral decorations. Just some touches to add allure.
She asked me last night who would do my hair and make-up. If she would also include me in the count. I said I am not particular about my make-up. I just need someone to stick fake eyelashes on my lids, mag blush on lang ako, lipstick and kilay, I am good to go. No need for foundation and airbrush-airbrush. Nagmumukhang akong enembalsamo pagmakapal ang foundation.
She has chosen a caterer. Well recommended and supposedly one of the best. The labor (waiter) fees alone? Susmaryosep. Nay ko, nakakahiyang sabihin. When you see me I will tell you in person. I could almost imagine your would-be reaction—- Anooooo????
Ganyan yata talaga dito sa America. Labor is expensive, and the tips alone, pwede ng magpakasal sa probinsya. Grabe. I think it’s because we think in pesos because we earn in pesos. Every amount we multiply by 52. Siguro if you are from here and you earn in dollars, it would not sound and appear so bad.
