1. I need more dollars to pay for some obligations. Waahh the peso dropped again. It was selling for 48.65 for a dollar this morning. Tomorrow it drops again. Waahh again.
2. It’s been a while since I’ve been to Beth, our family dentist.
Her clinic pala is yellow.
Merong nag-door bell, ninerbyos agad ako. Baka hold-upper, di ba uso yung mga dental clinics eh hino-hold-up? At meron pang nang-re-rape?
One of her daughters is now a doctor of medicine and she plans to hold clinic next door. Gusto daw nya OB-GYNE.
Beth’s dentist brother, Eric, used to hold clinic here too. Eric is sick and is undergoing dialysis twice a week and he also suffered a heart attack. I hope he gets stronger. He’s only 66. When I was 30, 66 was wow ang tanda na.
3. Dati Beth was complaining that her parents didn’t leave with them a lot of money. Whatever cash they had left were wiped out when her parents both got sick. She was not liquid daw. She and Eric inherited a lot of properties. Like this one, imagine all of a sudden, a 149 stories high condo called Vantage by Rockwell will soon rise right in front of her apartment complex and around their residence are condo here and condo there. O ano pa ba ang hihilingin nya. Thank you parents for your foresight. Beth and Eric’s land values are multiplying by the millions.
4. All alone in the chapel. I could concentrate more.
5. All alone in the church. I could pray silently with no distraction.
6. I didn’t know which one to pick. I suddenly remembered the You tube video showing a factory producing fake noodles.
7. I analyzed which one was cheaper between this two. But when I compared the quantity against the prices, the smaller one actually was cheaper. At P66.95 per pack of 300 sheets, one sheet comes out to .2231 pesos or 22.31 centavos/sheet. While the bigger pack costs P85.85 for 120 sheets/ pack x 3 packs = 360 sheets. That means the bigger pack is .2384 or 23.84 centavos for each sheet. Flat lang yung isa while the other one is buhag-hag, hindi siksik.
8. It was raining when I went out of the grocery store.
I landed on my butt.
Edmund said my daster daw is so makulay. I bought it for P200 from the tiangge in Greenhills. Baka daw mapagkamalan akong kusinera.
I have a few more aside from these two. How do you say it? Peklat pa more?
Gd am, Ms Annie.. I hope everything is ok with u and the family..
I heard abt Dr Eric’s condition from Dra Beth.. I hope things will be better for Dr Eric’s health soon.. Dra Beth’s parents had the foresight as to the future value of the land they bought.. Hindi man liquid sila Dra Beth during the time they were in financial crisis, at least malaki naman ang ROI nila ngayon.. 🙂
As for the Noodles, i usually get the Super Q Bihon Special brand.. 🙂
Pls be careful next time, Ms Annie.. Accidents could happen even when ur in ur own house, and more often than not, it happens when ur on familiar grounds.. But landing on ur butt isn’t a good thing, kc pag sobrang nabugbog ang butt mo, it could cause problems around ur hip area.. 🙁
Better check on the affected area every now and then, especially when there is soreness on that part of ur butt which had the hardest impact.. Pag persistent pa rin ang pain, better have urself checked out by a doctor.. 🙂
Take good care of urself, Ms Annie.. Lalo na pag umuulan, always be on the lookout for slippery pavements or water puddles on every corner of the building u came from..
God bless u always, Ms Annie.. 🙂
Thank you Pam for your concern.
OMB, I think you could sue the owner of the grocery store because you were injured and hurt. They should fix that corner so that nobody will be injured and hurt again. The owner should do something in order for that corner not to be slippery.
If I were I will go to my doctor and have it documented and photographed your injury, the scrape was very obvious and reddish in color, as evidence that you were hurt.
They should pay atleast for your doctor’s and medical bill. I hope there is a law like that in the Philippines.
Doing so, you will help other customers to avoid injury such as yours.
