The sail to Mykonos from Athens was smooth and I didn’t mind the two hour plus journey. The water was very still` i didn’t feel dizzy.
Passengers were scrambling to get their luggages.
We were like prisoners eagerly awaiting for the door to open.
We waited in bated breath.

Civilization
The water is colored turquoise and some areas are royal blue. Me wearing a blue dress is not planned.
The heat is very intense. There’s no way I can stand in the sun without wearing dark sunglasses and a hat.
A few days before leaving Manila, my husband monitors the weather and the temperature in Greece. Sabi nya para daw Hawaii, minsan he would say parang Pilipinas. Feeling ko para akong nasa Las Vegas. Ang init dito grabe. I am not prepared for this kind of heat. I am not expecting that I will be dodging sun’s rays all throughout this trip.
