Mykonos Walking Tour - Oh My Buhay

Edmund and I got separated from our group because I kept on stopping, asking him to take my photos. “tart, pictyuran mo ‘ko dito.” “dyan pa.”

One of Mykonos’ unique characteristics is the Greek cubic houses which have evolved into shops/ restaurants, a fine example of Cycladic architecture, built too close to each other allowing only narrow pathways as access. They are not even parallel to each other. They snake thru like a labyrinth and if you have a bad sense of direction, it’s easy to get lost. But getting lost in this small cluster of shops is fun— if you have the luxury of time, not when the tour guide is calling.

I was curious about their food. I was hoping to find grilled sardines same as the one in Lisbon. I was hoping that would be our lunch for today.

The world is full of beautiful places to admire and enjoy. It’s a blessing to be able to find the time, the energy, the opportunity, the resources to explore what God has given to us. It’s also a blessing to be able to travel with someone 24 hours a day, and not quarrel.
