We walked by in less than 30 minutes just so the tour guide could say that a trip to Namdaemun Market had been included in our tour itinerary.
The street was full of market goers. The tour guide asked Edmund to be the tour guide since she was petite and difficult to spot in this kind of congestion.
Edmund was taller than all of us and was wearing a red jacket. He laughed and started waving the red balloon but in a few seconds, he realized what the heck he was doing.
This statue moves.
We spotted food again. There were lots of food vendors and tiny tables in the middle of the street.
Pig’s feet, not crispy pata style, parang steamed or adobo.
Fake branded luxury items abound.

Gucci bags are aplenty. Gucci pa naman ang gamit ko.

In Korea, the vendors didn’t harass us. When we inquired about an item, they politely answered our questions. If we didn’t buy, they just nod or say thank you. They are not pushy or aggressive unlike our other Asian neighbor. The minute they spotted you, naku grabe, they would follow you around and practically harass you. They will try to cheat you pa by giving you fake money change (sukli).
