Someone left the water inside the freezer kasi kala daw refrigerator. The pitcher cracked. I also found the butter melting in the pantry.
When I came home Friday night, wala namang tao sa bahay but I still wanted to cook something in case Edmund or my son comes home looking for food which was highly unlikely but still…
9 pm
A———- “Vilma, kumain na ba kayo?”
V——— “Hayy, nakaka pagod”. (It’s her 2nd or 3rd day pa lang).
A———- “Paki pitpit naman yung bawang at paki hiwa yung sibuyas”.
She went twice around our kitchen.
A———– “Hayan ang kutsilyo sa harap mo”.
V———– “Ay, absent minded na ako sa pagod”.
Another maid helped her wash the clothes today. She was trained how to use the washing machine and drier. I hired her as labandera/linis. I just ignored what she was complaining about because I knew that she really got tired because she didn’t want to do those things. Not because washing was difficult. Merong washing machine, meron pa syang assistant, and apat lang kami. 4 px 4 days – 16 clothes. Even if you double that, 32 clothes, by the washing machine.
V———- “Kumusta yung mga aso, kumain na ba sila?”
Before she started slicing the onions, she went to complain about Lucy.
V———- “Ang bunganga talaga ni Lucy, ang lakas, bada…”
Jane, our new housegirl seems nice. She’s only 21. Today, I asked her to assist me in the kitchen by, slicing onions.
A———– “Jane, huwag kang magpapautang sa mga kasamahan mo ha? Sabihin mo na lang kailangan mo rin ang pera”.
Jane——– “Mam, magaan pala ang trabaho dito. Lagi kayong wala, at malinis ang bahay, walang dumi”.
A———– “Wala na kasing bata, walang nagkakalat”.
A———— “Buti pinayagan ka ng parents mo na magtrabaho?”
Jane——— “Mag-ipon lang ako mam, sa June mag-co-college ako”.
A———— “That’s very good”.
A———– “Anong trabaho ng tatay mo?”
Jane——– “Patay na si daddy”.
A———– “Ilan kayong magkakapatid?”
Jane——– “Dalawa, pero merong iba, half brothers”.
A———– “Pangalawang asawa ba ang nanay mo?”
Jane——– “Hindi, si mommy lang ang asawa. Merong una, pangalawa, at pangatlo. Si mommy lang.
