    1. Reading all my previous posts would give one a better perspective of who we are as a family and what we do to care for other people. If there’s anyone you would like to accuse of of being insensitive to the less fortunate, that shouldn’t be me.

Sophia is correct, we all have our own lives to live and differently. In that case, those people posting photos of their food, houses, new cars, Louis Vuitton boxes, engagement rings, sexy bodies on the beach, Disneyland photos– let’s just let them be. It’s their lives. They are not showing off. They are just too happy to share their moments. My friend recently posted their photo standing in front of their new Mercedes Benz SUV. I didn’t react “what the heck is his point, to make me envious because I don’t have a Benz?” No. I didn’t think that way. I was just happy for their achievement.

Majority of our family photos are at our family dining table. You probably haven’t seen we eating tilapia or tuyo. You
just based your outrage on one single photo without knowing what’s on our table. I haven’t posted my story on our family noche buena because I am still trying to finish my Korea posts. I do not want to preempt my post on our New Year’s celebration and noche buena so if I may, it would be nice to wait before making any judgment.

Annie, it’s so obvious that this person doesn’t know you and your family. It’s so easy for this person to pass judgment kasi nakita nya lang ang noche buena nyo? So lame!
I read OMB because you are an inspiration to me.
        Take care.

  1. the plight of the people who starve on the roads in the philippines is a daily tragedy. so what’s your point? to also wallow in misery because of that? to each his own, we all live our lives differently. what’s with your angst?

    1. I agree. Happy Blessed New Year to all of us! I’m a very private person. I dont post travel pictures and my everyday happenings. But I appreciate so much the likes of ACTY who bravely and unselfishly share their lives, not for anything else but to express themselves and in effect, inspire many readers like me with their insights and life experiences. Work hard and work smart. Face life with confidence. Then, enjoy the fruits of your labour. You dont give away everything to the millions of nagugutom sa lansangan, dahil baka ikaw naman ang susunod na limusan. Balansehin ang buhay. Be happy for those who succeed and hope and work smart that eventually you would become one as well.

      1. Thank you Grace for your comments. I like your rationalization of (my) life. Regards.
        BTW, thanks for reading omb.

  2. Happy new year Ms. Annie!

Happy new year to all of us!
I choosed this post so I can greet the blogger and the blog readers, so I was surprised when I read the first comment.
My eyes were stuck to that one line comment. I asked myself if what I was reading was correct, why was that comment there, and who posted the comment.
Feeling ko tuloy bumalik ako sa Divi! I accompanied an aunt to Divisoria before the new year and some sales people there surely can test your patience!
Maybe the anonymous commenter is not a regular reader and posted his/her comment quickly without thinking.

Let us not forget that this blog, like most blogs, is maintained by the owner for her personal satisfaction and we are just visitors/readers who likes to read nice posts.

Hope to read more of your posts Ms. Annie! 🙂
